The IoT-wearable is a personal alarm device with a fall detector and step-counter. A fall detector is a device that registers when someone has a fall.
How?
The IoT-wearable is connected to the CareBuilder platform and will immediately send out an alarm and request assistance in case of an emergency.

CareBuilder also offers smart sensors that can be installed throughout the house to register and analyse lifestyle patterns. For example: You can set up a ‘protocol’, through our easy to use templates, which says:- send an alarm to caregivers if your care receiver is in the bathroom for an usual amount of time (say after an hour).
How?
The alarms that are sent after the alarm button is pressed, or when a fall has been detected can be sent to professional care organisations, personal caregivers, family and friends at the same time. They can all see the status of the alarm, who has taken responsibility and who has helped the person that has fallen. This ensures that when someone has a fall, they are helped as quickly as possible.

With the latest upgrade to our IoT Wearable, we optimised the fall detection functionality. It’s now possible to configure the sensitivity for the fall and shock detection per individual device so that each wearer receives the correct protection, based on their needs.
