In other platforms, only the customer can be the client. CareBuiler has a platform where the carer and management personnel can also be a client. This ensures that you’re never alone when facing any type of situation. You can always ask for assistance from the exact person/role you need. Through this way, colleagues become more independent.

Re-Active, Pro-Active & Pre-Active Tasks

Tasks originate through the following events:

Re-Active.png
Pro-Active.png
Pre-Active.png

Re-Active

All alarms & requests that are sent after an action / reaction
(e.g. when a care receiver presses the alarm-button on her e-Watch)

Pro-Active

All tasks that are planned to be done at a specific time
(e.g. a weekly wellbeing check-up to see how a someone is doing)

Pre-Active

All alerts that are being sent after a suspected emergency
(e.g. when no activity has been detected for a while)

+ Trigger

The whole process starts with a Trigger. The Triggers come from Nourish, smart sensors and requests from the people we support. CareBuilder automatically connects the care task with the best suitable carers.

Match

Everyone in CIC can be used as a resource. Match tasks based on location, availability, qualification, gender and language. You can very accurately find the best resources based on these criteria. Through this way of working you can find the best suitable colleague for every task even if you have thousands of employees.

Connect

The way in which tasks are received and performed depends on your choice. Tasks can be accepted and taken care of through the Virtual Care Centre, the Carer Handset, through phoning and e-mail. Communication is made simple by giving everyone the ability to communicate through video and voice calls, content, messaging and task activities/notes.

Act

You can take care of the task centrally or at the service location. This way you can continually work together as a tea. A monitor will be placed which will give an overview of every tasks that has been and will be completed in said service. You can take care of tasks by looking at the calendar of the person we support, looking at all tasks that need to be done at a certain service and by opening your personal calendar.

Report

With CareBuilder you can manage everything in real-time. Instead of waiting to fix something after it went wrong, you can already automatically catch if something isn’t going as it should and immediately intervene. Through giving each carer instructions and sub-activities, we prevent errors. CareBuilder also makes use of auto-entry (e.g. no need to check if the window is closed if our door-sensor know it’s closed, the status closed is already filled in) which saves each carer lots of time so that they can focus on the most important thing: providing care.

Evaluate

With CareBuilder you can evaluate in real-time. In stead of manually controlling if everything is going well, you can also set up rules that check if everything goes correctly. If there’s an anomaly you will get a notification.

Make better use of capacity with CareBuilder's flexible platform:

CIC can choose the method of process/triage themselves:

+ More and diverse stakeholders can be involved to manage care capacity (e.g. informal care, family and volunteers);

Choice per service and personalised (the protocol can be different at night than during the day for example)

Take out the peak from each care process = unburdening carers;

Sharing capacity and knowledge: scarce higher-educated capacity is relieved by care differentiation;

Less stress;

More independence client.

TASK

CareBuilder ensures that the task that needs to be performed is delivered directly to the right person. As a result, the task does not first have to go to the virtual care centre, which then hands the task to the right person. The task automatically moves to the best resource (or group of resources) to perform the task. If this group is unable to perform the task, the task is escalated using the escalation protocol. Each service can have its own personalised escalation protocol.

CIC uses CareBuilder's technology to make the re-active care processes easier by giving carers all the tools to perform the task in the best possible way. Manual administration is limited, so that they only have to focus on one thing: providing care. Tasks can also be handled remotely by means of (video) communication.

CareBuilder enables CIC to use more resources that can perform a task. This graph shows who you initially assign the task to. CIC can use their entire ecosystem with CareBuilder (besides carers and the care center, family members, friends and the client themselves can be included in the process to perform the task).

By “preventing” is capacity requirement minimised:

CIC can choose their method:

+ Fewer false alarms;

Less escalation;

Less Pro-Active Tasks > Less Work;

Less stress for caregivers;

Safety;

More client independence.

TRIGGERED TASK

CareBuilder contains smart sensors that can be placed throughout the house to register and analyze lifestyle patterns. Smart sensors include: motion, door, kettle, refrigerator, bed and electricity sensors (depending on the client's need).

CareBuilder contains business rules, which are configured according to CIC’s preferences, to provide the best protection for each individual. A simple example of a rules is: send an alarm when no movement is detected for more than 4 hours.

With CareBuilder, CIC is able to create complex business rules. This means that rules can contain multiple sensors. An example: Send an alarm when no movement is detected in the living room, bedroom and bathrooms for more than 4 hours and when the refrigerator, front door and back door are not open.

More capacity through new working methods:

+ CIC can let go of some of the planned care and only needs to perform a task when needed (Pro-Active to Pre-Active);

CIC can let go of part of the planned care and only has to perform a task when the client asks for it (Pro-Active to Re-Active);

Handling planned care differently (no longer scheduling a fixed schedule);

Using technology for follow-up (remote care).

AT LOCATION > REMOTE-FIRST CARE

With CareBuilder hundreds of tasks can be scheduled with one click through our service packages. A service package is a package of services that are added to a client or caregiver. As a result, individual tasks do not have to be planned.

Savings, however, arise when tasks are no longer planned but are only carried out when there is a demand for them. Instead of checking a client's well-being several times a day, this can also be done whenever the client needs it (by pushing a button or by readings from smart sensors). This gives the client more independence and carers can perform more tasks.

Scheduled tasks do not need to have specifically responsible carers. The CareBuilder platform will automatically search for responsible carers when a certain scheduled task needs to be performed (such as giving medicines).
