Care programmes and living context
CareBuilder’s care programmes are specifically designed to match the level of support each client needs. Because no situation is ever the same, every programme offers a carefully balanced mix of encouraging personal control, close human support and the structure that is sometimes required in daily care. This approach is continuously adapted to individual needs, unique abilities and each client’s stage of life. The result is always the right care, delivered at the right moment.
Three main forms of support
Remote support
Autonomy is central. The client functions largely independently and retains control over daily life. Support remains mostly in the background and steps in only when risks arise or when support is requested. Within this safe and familiar environment, independence is actively maintained and carefully supported.
Close support
When needs become more complex, responsibility is shared between client and professional. Together they decide what type of active support is needed and at what moment, creating clarity, rhythm and predictability. Within this structured setting, there is guidance as well as space for personal choice.
Regulating close support
When personal control is no longer possible, this programme provides a stable structure focused on safety and calm. The professional takes the lead through fixed routines and clear boundaries. A well organised physical and social environment helps the client feel secure, understood and supported.

At CareBuilder, care is never separate from where someone lives. The living environment influences how a person lives, grows and receives support. That is why we do not see the home as a passive backdrop, but as an active factor in wellbeing. Whether through smart technologies that enhance safety or a layout that encourages independence, the environment must be right. By seamlessly integrating the living context with the care plan, we create a safe foundation where clients not only receive support, but above all feel at home.
Independent living with remote support
Clients live fully independently in their own home within the community. Control remains with the client, supported by flexible and tailored outreach support. Through agreed contact moments or modern tools, there is a continuous safety net without compromising privacy or autonomy.
Supported living
This form offers independence to clients who need a nearby safety net within a residential neighbourhood or care setting. While clients lead their own lives, support is continuously available close by or on call. This provides structure, reassurance and safety for everyone involved.
Protected living
For clients who are not yet able to live independently, this option offers a stable and low stimulus environment. A predictable setting and the constant presence of professional support are central. This intensive proximity forms an essential safety net for those who require daily supervision and care.
