Use Case

Lifestyle monitoring is suited for people who want to live at home, independently, for as long as possible.

What?

CareBuilder also offers smart sensors that can be installed throughout the house to register and analyse lifestyle patterns. For example: You can set up a ‘protocol’,  through our easy to use templates, which says:-  send an alarm to caregivers if your care receiver is in the bathroom for an usual amount of time (say after an hour).

How?

A range of different sensors like motion, door, water cooker, fridge, bed, electricity sensors are installed throughout the house, depending on the needs of the care receiver. These sensors are directly connected to the WiFi, so installation is quick and easy. These sensors register the activity of the care receiver. Their activity can be seen through our platform and can then be interpreted.

Benefits

CareBuilder also offers a passive alarming system, which is configured to the preferences of your organisation and/or the individual care receiver and their family.  An alarm is set up, individually and/or by service,  by using our  protocol template  to reflect : sensor type, response type (eg call, text, video or face2face visit), who should be on the receiving list and in what order they should be contacted (e.g. family, neighbours, care organisation, emergency services).  All options can be changed dynamically as circumstances change. Alerts can originate through the following events:

Alert.png

No Motion

When no motion has been detected for a long period of time, an alarm will be sent.

Alert_Too long.png

Too Long in Room

Set up a timing notification to alert you when a care receiver has been in one room for an unusually long time, which could indicate a fall or other issue.

Gets-up.png

Away From Home

Stay up to date on when the care receiver has left home, and keep track of any abrupt changes to their daily routine.

Bed.png

Day Started / Not Started

Get an alert when the care receivers get out of bed in the morning, or if they stay in bed longer than usual. This can inform you of any safety issues that might have occurred overnight.

Fridge.png

Fridge Door

When the fridge hasn’t been opened for some time, the care receiver might not be eating correctly.

Heart-rate.png

Low/high Heart Rate

We can set up periodic monitoring of  the heart rate, with an alarm being set if the reading falls outside of acceptable parameters or there is an ad hoc abnormality.

Water-Leak.png

Water Leak

Our flood-sensor can detect if an excessive amount of water leaks into any room susceptible to flooding.

Battery-level.png

Sensor System Health

Get a notification when the sensor batteries are running low or when the device is offline.

Use Cases

Lifestyle monitoring is suitable for the elderly, with or without dementia and for care receivers that have an illness that has a slow course and has impact on their daily lives, and where they  aren't able to communicate properly e.g.: Huntington Disease, Parkinsons, MS and ALS.

Lifestyle monitoring is suited for people who want to live at home, independently, for as long as possible, letting organisations know that their care receivers are active and healthy.
