Solutions for better care, enhanced safety and independent living.

CareBuilder provides a flexible, open standards platform for integrating and managing all your smart devices with minimal burden on IT resources.

CareBuilder has been helping clients connect older, analogue devices into wi-fi networks and online care ecosystems. Our technology ensures old care phones and pull-cords are given new life as part of online, proactive alert response services.

When you do need to update your devices, you can benefit from ours and our clients’ experience. We can help you select the best devices for your needs and can even manage the entire process of acquiring, configuring and managing them.

Devices already integrated across all care needs:

  • Safety devices (fire and smoke detectors, intercom, electronic door locks)

  • Smart home devices (climate control, furniture, lighting, blinds)

  • Care devices (phones, pull-cords, pendants, GSM alarms, bed sensors, fall and epilepsy detection devices, moisture / wander detection)

  • e-Health monitoring devices (heart rate monitor, blood pressure measurement, glucose, temperature, etc.)

  • Communication devices (smartphones, tablets, PCs, smart watches)

  • NFC tags  ( logging in/out, checking in on arrival at the patient’s location, or for signing off tasks on completion)

Most common technology standards already supported

  • Communication Protocols – Zwave, Bluetooth, ESPA 4.4.4., Wi-Fi, 3G & 4G, NFC
  • API & data exchange – JAVA, DOT NET
  • Video & sound – SIP, WebRTC, H264, VOIP
  • Alarm devices – care phones (e.g. BS8521, TTnew, UMO), SMS, smartphones, browser-based tablets
  • Sensors – Fire, break-in, leak, motion, fall and wander detectors, IP cameras, door monitors, e-Health monitoring devices
  • IoT (CareBuilder AIO) – for devices using Wi-Fi or Zwave (buttons, sensors, smoke, fire and movement detectors)

We are essentially agnostic as to your choice of smart devices, provided they are built on open standards. To keep total cost of ownership low, we work with you to integrate your existing devices and support you with selecting new ones.

  • connect the customer’s devices to the wi-fi

  • download the CareBuilder Client Portal app from the app store

  • caregivers complete the procedure by scanning a QR code, automatically coupling the device(s) to the patient and to the applicable services, triage and response protocols as well as to patient-specific content.
